How to Give

There are many ways to support J.E. Cosgriff Memorial School. All gifts are tax-deductible as allowable by law.

Cash

The most straightforward giving option, cash provides immediate support for Cosgriff School, its programs, projects, and future plans.

Pledges

By making a pledge, you can support Cosgriff School with a fixed amount over a period of time. A pledge demonstrates a solid commitment to Cosgriff and can allow you to give more over a period of time than might be possible in a one-time gift.

Matching Gifts

Many companies match employee gifts. Matching allows you to increase the impact of your donation. We encourage you to check with the human resources department at you workplace to find out if your employer has a gift-matching program or check the list of businesses on our website for your employer's names

Personal Property

J.E. Cosgriff School accepts any personal item that can be of use to the operations of the school, or that can be sold or auctioned to raise money for the school.

Bequests

You can honor J.E. Cosgriff Memorial School with a bequest through your will. You may designate a specific asset, a percentage of an asset, or the residue or part of the residue of your estate. If you wish, you may work with us to plan an estate gift through the Catholic Foundation of Utah.

Trusts

Charitable remainder trusts provide a gift for the school while also providing continuous yearly income for you or your specified beneficiary. You receive an immediate income tax deduction equal to a large percentage of your gift, and a portion of the income you receive over time is non-taxable.

Endowments

Establishing or donating to an endowment fund builds the principal amount in an account that earns interest over time. Money from the donor-designated beneficiary is drawn from the interest earned on the principal.

Volunteering

Cosgriff is always in need of volunteers to help plan and work special events, assist with projects in the development office, implement seasonal fundraising projects, provide support for school activities, or chaperone school field trips or other organized events.
